At Awuf Afro Store, we want you to be happy with every order. If you need to exchange an item, please read our policy below carefully before getting in touch.

Exchanges

We accept exchanges on non-perishable items only. This includes dry and packaged food (flour, rice, spices, oils, tinned goods), clothing, cookware, and accessories. Perishable items — including fresh produce, fresh meat, frozen products, and any item requiring refrigeration — are not eligible for exchange under any circumstances.

To be accepted for an exchange, the item must meet both of the following conditions:

  • It must be in its original packaging, exactly as it was when you received it.
  • It must be completely unopened and untampered with — seals, wrapping, and labels must be fully intact.

Items that have been opened, repackaged, or show any signs of having been tampered with will not be accepted for exchange and will be returned to you.

How to Request an Exchange

Before sending anything back, please contact us first. We will confirm whether your item is eligible and provide you with the return address and next steps. Do not send items back without contacting us in advance.

The cost of returning the item to us is the customer’s responsibility unless we sent the wrong product or the item arrived faulty.
